Nergis Tekstil Company was founded in 1978 with her very own capital in order to meet Turkey's quality polyester yarn and fabric needs.
Nergis preliminaries:
- Located in BURSA Organized Industrial District.
- Construction began in 1980 on the area of 20.000 m² of which 4.050 m² is building area.
- First production was Warp Knitted Fabric and realized
by four KARL MAYER Warp Knitting Machines in
1981.
- First PET Polyester Textured Yarn production
began in 1982 with two POY Spinning Lines
and six Texturing Machines.
- First Twisted Yarn was produced in 1984.
- First Woven Fabric was produced in 1986 with
38 Vamatex Weaving Machines.
- First Polymer production was made in 1988.
- First Flat Yarn production on cop and as
cheese cake was made in 1987 and 1996 respectively.
- First 2 Direct Spinning Lines were started up in
1996.
Nergis Holding, was founded in
1994 and Nergis Tekstil along with
her sister firms
SIFAS and POLYLEN,
which are also located in Organized Industrial District
and operate in the same field of industry, joined to holding
in the same year.
Nergis currently reached 167.410 m² of production
area as a result of continious expansion and technological
development investments. |
